Global Environmental Services, with facilities in Georgetown, KY and Austin, TX, is the seventh largest electronics recycler in North America.* GES partners with major OEMs, government entities, corporations (large and small of all industries), and significantly with the community to deliver world class services.
Our line of services includes electronics recycling, asset recovery, secure data destruction, tape services, IT equipment refurbishment and remarketing, printer/copier fleet installation and removals and a wide array of print and copier hardware and software solutions including managed print. Our managed print solutions have grown to be an extension of our recycling relationships with major printer OEM vendors and is a leveraged expansion of our service offerings.
Where We Came From
GES was founded by printer asset recovery industry leaders to address shortcomings in the eWaste Recycling industry. They believed that improvements in the areas of asset tracking, vendor segmentation, environmental protocol, exporting, and customer ROI, would transform the industry. Our leadership envisioned a way to recycle electronics properly to do no harm to the environment or to the less fortunate citizens of our global environment. And, we believe that reuse is the highest form of electronics recycling at all levels.
In 2009 the company added a suite of managed print solutions to leverage and expand its capabilities in support of a broader customer base. Managed print solutions naturally leverage other GES services in the areas of printer reuse, FRU parts, asset management, reporting, supply chain, and redeployment.
